The purpose of this subject is to extend student understanding about supply chain management by providing insights into ‘Continual Improvement’. When systems thinking is applied well, improvements within and between organisations may be successfully undertaken. Quality management systems, approaches, and tools allow people to improve organizational processes. The subject engages both qualitative and quantitative approaches used in workplaces to guide students and assist identification, analysis and understanding of improvement methodologies.
